We’re looking for:
- Experienced Backend engineer with strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js
- Detail-oriented self-starter, with a great passion for problem solving
- Open minded, outgoing, and self-confident
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
Responsibilities:
- Debug and troubleshoot problems in complex systems
- Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers from San Francisco
- Comfortable writing both unit and integration tests and understanding their tradeoffs
- Help envision and implement new features and technologies
- Fix bugs and ship stable, high quality code you’re proud to be a core contributor on
- Deliver excellent software through comprehensive peer-reviews, CI, and automated testing
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Backend engineer
- Experience in building applications with Node.js and Express
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with container-based architectures like Docker
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Knowledge of design patterns
