LOCATION:

Novi Sad / Remote

We’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience as a professional Software Engineer
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with RoR projects
  • Strong backend development skills with familiarity in JavaScript
  • Experience designing and optimizing databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
  • Good understanding of Git workflows and collaborative development
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like Heroku or AWS
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization best practices
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Experience in writing automated tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end)
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a distributed team across Serbia and the USA
  • Develop and maintain scalable RoR applications
  • Design, build, and maintain APIs for seamless integrations
  • Implement automated testing platforms and write unit tests
  • Follow best programming practices and write clean, maintainable code
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
  • Document your work to ensure clarity and long-term maintainability
